Founded in 1981, SWG pursues the highest level of quality, accuracy and customer care in every facet of its research services. The firm’s primary business direction focuses on marketing, social, political and media research. This research is conducted at four locations in Italy with access to interviewers skilled in additional languages including English, French, Dutch, German, Slovenian and Spanish. With two decades of experience in rigorous opinion and media research, SWG continues to build on its reputation by maintaining media relationships with newspapers, television, radio and online sources. In the course of a year, SWG has experienced press coverage exceeding 900 print articles and local or national press coverage including TV specials and radio interviews.

SWG is dedicated to the strategic power of technological investments and maintains the most advanced process control and data collection methods in Italy. This is evidenced through UNI-EN-ISO 9001-2000 certification.


SWG employs 50 people (one-half are researchers), 200 face-to-face interviewers in Italy, and a multilingual telephone interview staff of 300. Headquartered in Trieste, SWG also maintains four operational offices in Bologna, Milan, Roma and Trapani.
