Collaborative qualitative research technology expands analytical power
Harris Interactive® (NASDAQ: HPOL), a leading global custom market research firm, today announced the launch of its Advanced Strategy LabTM (ASL) in Asia. ASL is a proven qualitative research technology that uses a combination of dedicated facilities, mobile laptop and web-based access, to facilitate brainstorming, idea generation and solution development through networked computers in a moderated real-time group setting. It allows for simultaneous, anonymous input from up to 24 participants either in an in-person session in the same location via laptop computers or via the internet, from any location.
ASL has been developed and delivered over several years in the United States supporting Harris Interactive clients in a wide range of ideation, strategy and research sessions. A session to introduce ASL to clients has been held today in Hong Kong.

The ASL system offers clients versatilityto conduct a session as either an in-person lab with modern viewing facilities or implemented real-time over the internet with simultaneous voice and data for a 'virtual' session. ASL supports a wide range of group-based applications from consumer research to senior management workshops. The Web-based software makes simultaneous global sessions simple and effective to run in or out of the lab environment.
