  • BA/BS required; graduate degree a plus.

Career Track: Market Research

Associate/Manager/Director/VP Market Research

Our Managers/Directors/VPs are responsible for leading, managing and growing the brightest teams of research talent. They hold important client-facing roles, leading some of Harris Interactive’s most innovative studies. Their role includes designing, proposing, directing and analyzing results from qualitative and quantitative research, often applying advanced proprietary research tools. Excellent communication skills are essential, along with the ability to interpret research findings so that clients benefit from actionable insights.

We seek candidates with the following background:

  • Graduate degree; PhD preferred.
  • Multiple years of custom market research experience, including a solid understanding of quantitative methods.
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of projects; exceptional analytical capabilities and consulting skills.
  • A solid statistical background/working knowledge of statistical software.
  • Experience managing a team of researchers and a series of research projects including designing, proposing, pricing, managing and analyzing surveys.
  • Must have excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
  • Track record of attaining revenue targets.
  • Ability to apply qualitative research findings.

Career Track: Consultant

Within Market Research and Business Development tracks, we have a hybrid position, Senior Consultant, which combines both areas of focus.

Senior Consultant/Director & VP

Our Senior Consultants work with sales teams in our industry research practices and are responsible for acquiring, developing and maintaining relationships with strategic accounts. They provide research and consulting services and expertise in the areas including but not limited to Customer Loyalty, Brand and Strategy; Marketing Communications.

Senior Consultants actively market the benefits and features of new applications and products. They participate in the new business development process and are accountable for servicing these accounts and acting as Engagement Managers. Our Consultants are "seller – doers" and are held accountable for sales, revenue and margin targets.

We seek candidates with the following background:

Career Track: Research Operations

The Research Operations division provides operational services which support implementation of our research projects. Research Operations includes Contract Field Services (bidding the operational elements of a project); Project Management; Data Collection Services (telephone data collection management); Business Operations (administrative management); Sample Programming, Survey Programming, Data Processing, and Coding.

Our Research Operations division has facilities in both the United States and the United Kingdom. The U.S. branch supports North America and Asian offices; the U.K. branch supports our European offices.
