Asha Choksi

SVP, Head of Research and Operations, Asia

Asha is a marketing research professional with over a decade of experience in helping clients collect, manage and translate complex data into actionable business strategies. She joined Harris Interactive US in 2007, bringing with her a breadth of experience in the market research industry - running the gamut from programming & operations, data warehousing, and quality control to full-service marketing consulting. She joined the Asia team (based in Singapore) in 2009 and currently manages the research and operations teams in Singapore, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

A journalist by training, Ms. Choksi thrives on helping clients develop effective communications strategies based on research. Since joining Harris Interactive, she has worked with brand executives on such initiatives across industries – from consumer and packaged goods to technology to public associations.

She has considerable experience in the online space, having managed brand and messaging projects for Microsoft for two and half years, and conducting surveys with b2b and consumer audiences, largely online. Her projects included a large scale segmentation used to identify Microsoft’s target audiences for consumer products.

She also worked on the technology side of market research, at Global Market Insite (GMI), in the US as the head of Client Services for the East Region. She worked with sales and account teams to define online panel and technology solutions, and facilitate the relationship between their onshore and offshore service bureaus in the areas of panel management, Internet survey programming and sampling, data collection and analysis and quality control. She also worked with technical teams to help define requirements for future innovations and acquisitions for GMI’s proprietary online data collection and panel management tools.

Ms. Choksi has an M.B.A in Marketing from George Mason University, and a BA in Journalism and Political Science from The George Washington University in Washington, DC.

Amrita Banta

SVP, Client Development, Asia

In her current role, Amrita drives new and existing client business in the region. Her responsibility includes developing client needs and working with the research teams in designing winning solutions that help clients gain competitive market advantages from actionable consumer insight.

Amrita has over 14 years of experience in marketing and business development with a keen focus on driving client growth. Amrita started her career in account management in Lintas India handling global accounts such as Motorola, Thai Airways and Mastercard. She then went on to join J. Walter Thompson where she was part of the core new business acquisition team. Her key successes among others entailed designing a new business service strategy and a comprehensive plan to expand services to potential customers. At J. Walter Thompson, Amrita played a key role in building the new client portfolio by extending the company’s services to companies such as Bank of America, Electrolux, Agrolimen Spain, Ericsson, Philips and Benckiser amongst others.

In addition to her career in advertising, Amrita has also worked as a marketing consultant with Dabur India Limited, India’s premier healthcare brand. Amrita played a key role in the launch of Dabur's new women’s healthcare brand in the sizeable India market. She has also worked with Options, a holiday company in the U.K in a similar role. She has a Masters in English Literature from St Stephens College in Delhi and has worked in India, UK and Singapore.

Windy Siu

Senior Research Director

Windy has 15 years of market research experience in Asia Pacific, especially Hong Kong. She is a Senior Research Director with Harris Interactive, responsible for providing consultative service in market research, designing and delivering customize research assignments.

Windy has been working with various leading companies and MNCs. Prior to joining Harris Interactive, she was with Hang Seng Bank (a member of HSBC Group and one of the largest banks in HK) where she led the design and implementation of research initiatives of the bank, bringing a wealth of experience in financial sector. Windy also headed the research function in Hutchison Telecommunications, Sony Corporate (HK) and Shun Hing Group (the sole distributor of Panasonic products in HK) and worked closely with business units in product development and business planning. For agency experience, she worked for Synovate (Singapore) where she specialized in customer satisfaction and loyalty, brand imagery and customer segmentation.

Given Windy’s client side background, she is particularly strong in articulating clients’ business needs and helping them in formulating winning strategies to achieve their bottom line through the application of actionable research insights.

Windy graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong as Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Business Administration and attained a Master Degree (with distinction) from University of Leicester in United Kingdom.

Nidhi Arora

Research Director

Nidhi is a Research Director with Harris Interactive and is responsible for designing and delivering customized research assignments. She has over ten years of experience in Research and Consulting with leading companies in Management Consultancies and MNCs such as Avalon Consulting and General Electric (GE).

Nidhi’s research experience spans a number of industries, including financial services (insurance, private banking, corporate finance, credit cards, project financing), retail, hospitality, infrastructure and automobiles.

Some of the key areas where she has assisted these clients are consumer behaviour, stakeholder commitment, segmentation, growth strategy, market sizing, new product launch, product and market diversification, location feasibility, industry mapping and organization structuring satisfaction assessments. She manages both, qualitative as well as quantitative research.

As a part of a world-wide leadership program called the Financial Management Program (FMP) at GE, her various roles included conducting business and product feasibility studies, six-sigma projects, identifying areas of cost management and financial planning and analysis across various lines of business. She spent 9 months as an internal consultant for GE-SBI Cards, a credit JV between GE and SBI (India), advising on the marketing strategy for the company, with a focus on the financial viability of different product designs in various markets.

Nidhi is an MBA from Xavier Institute of Management (India), with specialization in Finance and Marketing.

Aman Arora

Associate Director

Aman is an Associate Director with Harris Interactive and is responsible for designing and delivering customized research Aman is an Associate Director with Harris Interactive and is responsible for designing and delivering customized research assignments. He has over eight years of Market Research experience, having worked across leading agencies such as Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS) in Singapore and IMRB International in India, as well as on the client side, with Eli Lilly (India).

Aman research experience spans various sectors, but primarily in the fields of Finance and Business Services, Telecom, Tourism and Pharmaceuticals. He has also worked across diverse types of research assignments, including Concept Tests, Quality of Service Audits, Branding Studies, Customer Satisfaction Studies, Usage/Attitudinal Research and Market Sizing studies. He has significant experience in both quantitative and qualitative research. The list of clients whom Aman has worked with includes names such as American Express, MasterCard, American International Assurance (AIA), Motorola, LG, Greggio, ITC, Airtel, Escorts, Hewlett Packard, Microsoft, IRCTC, Eli Lilly, Janssen Cilag, Merck Sharp and Dohme (MSD), Astra Zeneca, Nikon, Olam International, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, Reliance Communications, Escotel, Moser Baer, Claas, Radisson Hotels, Leica, SIXT Car Rental Services and Hughes.

During his stint at Eli Lilly (India), Aman was responsible for undertaking and coordinating activities required for generation of customer insights to facilitate day-to-day as well as long-term decision-making by the Brand teams at Eli Lilly. Aman also worked actively on various presentations for the CEO and on business cases including financial modeling for proposed product launches for India.

Aman is an MBA from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (India), with a specialization in Marketing. Prior to that, Aman did a Bachelors in Business Studies (specializing in Finance) from the College of Business Studies, University of Delhi.

Sridhar Krishnamurthy

Research Director, Methodology

Research Director at Harris Interactive Asia, Sridhar is an experienced market research professional committed to adapting research technologies to suit customer and business needs.

He has over 20 years of market research and marketing planning experience with leading international companies. His core strengths are in Brand equity Management, Opportunities Identification Research and Simulated Test Marketing.

Over the years, Sridhar has perfected research and analysis techniques to suit various types of organizations in public and private sector spanning industries, such as Hospitality, Travel & Tourism, IT, Telecom, Automobile, FMCG, Healthcare and organizations in Manufacturing, Business Service, the Government and Social/ Voluntary sectors.

He has developed research models for both descriptive and predictive research and presented research papers at market research seminars.

He is an MBA from IIM Bangalore, India and a B. Tech from IIT Madras, India, and is a Permanent Resident of Singapore.

Sarah Mok

Fieldwork Director

Sarah has been in the research industry for over 8 years and is experienced working with large organizations and MNCs, leading operational team members in the planning and execution of fieldwork. Her vast practical experiences, backed by a good theoretical foundation, enable her to deliver marketing research with useful and relevant insights to her clients.

Sarah is an experienced operations manager who has received formal trainings in both qualitative and quantitative techniques and methodologies on CATI, CAPI, Street Intercept, Door-to-Door, Telephone, Mystery Shop, Central Location Testing, Focus Group Discussion, In-Depth, Ethnography, Accompanied Shopping, etc. She has had managed research studies including tracking projects using different methodologies on a wide range of products and services in the FMCG, Governmental & Statutory Boards, Telecommunications, Hospitality, Fashion, Healthcare, Travel, Banking and Finance, IT, Retailing and Consumer Durables industries.

She also conducts in-depth interviews and runs hall-tests and has earlier worked with leading companies like DHL, HSBC, Kao, SingTel, Nokia, Shell, Asia Pacific Brewery, Watsons and Adidas amongst others.

Robert Law

Operations Director

Robert has more than 10 years professional experience in project management and operations. He had worked at Merrill Lynch, Euromoney and Egon Zehnder. He joined Harris Interactive Asia 5 years ago and is responsible for the firm’s fieldwork process for both quantitative and qualitative projects. As an experienced research professional, Robert has also managed different types of regional research projects both qualitative and quantitative in various industry sectors. His extensive project management experience has helped the team grow efficiently and expanded our capacities four fold within a short time frame.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Macalester College in the US.

His main duties in Harris Interactive Asia are in job costing control, overall project planning and resources management.
