Survey Programmer - Rochester, NY (224)
Location: Corporate - Rochester, NY

Overview

The primary role is to program the questionnaire on the front-end of the project (whether it’s web or CATI).

 

Responsibilities
  • Program questionnaires on the front end of the project (whether it’s web or CATI).
  • Provide all programming and technical services needed in support of client studies including questionnaire design (CATI/Internet), sample preparation, and survey data verification. Manage projects from design to data analysis.
  • Interact with project managers and clients about the programming and technical requirements of projects.
  • Discuss various options and suggest solutions.
  • Keep current with new developments and updates.
  • Gain overall understanding of Market Research and the products and services.

 

Requirements
  • Market Research background needed.
  • Experience with market research data processing application (Quantum, Survey craft, Quanvert and SPSS) preferred.
  • 1-3 yrs. experience programming questionnaires or data processing (or 3-5 yrs. experience for senior level).
  • BA/BS in Statistics, Mathematics or Social Science with a strong technical focus.
  • Working knowledge of CAI (front-end applications) using Survey craft preferred.
  • Other acceptable front-end applications (including, but not limited to) are: Query, Quancept, C-Survent, Voxco, Saw tooth.
  • Proficient in data analysis language such as SPSS.
  • Good knowledge of statistics and statistical terminology.
  • Additional computer programming knowledge a plus.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
