Market Research

Research Associate - Princeton, NYC, Norwalk (449)
Location: Numerous-- See Title / Description


Work on a broad range of custom research projects involving quantitative research methods. Will work on segmentation and brand positioning studies as well as other quantitative custom studies. Will work on primarily online and telephone research studies between both consumer and business audiences. Will serve as liaison between clients/supervisor and internal research and support staff.

  • Total/partial management of research studies with an emphasis on quantitative methodologies.
  • Design and field questionnaires under supervisor.
  • Provide project support under supervisor.
  • Analyze market data and provide recommendations for customer responses.
  • Work closely with programmers and samplers to ensure accuracy of survey data.
  • Understand and communicate the business implications of research findings.
  • Utilize various data analysis programs to conduct data analysis (multivariate, factor and regression analysis).
  • Develop preliminary marketing strategies.
  • Advise clients on survey design and data points.
  • BS in market research, social sciences, economics, statistics or business. Advanced degree a plus.
  • Strong quantitative abilities.
  • Recent college graduate ok.
  • 0-2 years’ experience preferred.
  • A statistical background, including applications experience, decision modeling and multivariate analysis.
  • PC/Windows skills preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid client management skills.
