Client Service Manager - Rochester, NY (620)
Location: CRMD - Rochester, New York

Overview

With minimal direction from a senior team member, the Client Services Manager assumes responsibility for the implementation of a broad range of complex market research, administrative and technical activities. The position requires the management of client relationships and the timely execution and delivery of survey research projects while working to ensure that all Harris Interactive standards for quality and professionalism are maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Assumes all responsibility for the maintenance of existing client relationships.
  • With consultation from senior team members, manages all aspects of specific client relationships including:
    project initiation, project scheduling, adapting survey instruments for Internet presentation,, managing all field activities to ensure that projects are completed within established budgets, parameters and schedule, posting field status reports, coordinating with Research Operations staff.
  • Develops and maintains quality and productivity standards for all projects.
  • Communication of field status reports directly to client.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in social sciences: psychology, sociology, economics, etc.
  • Basic understanding of quantitative statistical analysis.
  • Customer Service and project management experience.
  • Proven technical skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and related computer software packages.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to work independently, self-directed, strong work ethic and adherence to deadlines.
  • Experience with quality improvement management a plus.
  • Market research experience a plus.
  • Client service managers who support International activities are also required to work flexible hours to accommodate international time differences.
  • Knowledge of a foreign language a plus but not required.
