Director, Client Development-Healthcare - Norwalk, CT or NYC or Princeton, NJ (430)
Location: Numerous-- See Title / Description


Develop new business client base and increase corporate revenue through sales and marketing efforts.

  • Identify and close sales opportunities from leads provided by inside sales representatives and marketing campaigns
  • Work with clients to define opportunities, create solutions, close sales
  • Develop client relationships and grow revenue within the client base
  • Maintain consistent attainment of business results
  • Develop and manage new accounts through executive cold calling
  • Suggest ideas for sales strategies and value-added solutions to capture market share and enhance customer value
  • Establish sales forecasts
  • Give input to and authorize final proof of client proposals
  • Establish and maintain outstanding customer satisfaction
  • Deliver customized client presentations
  • Work through sales obstacles and objections to see a "prospect" through to close
  • Industry expertise with long history of success in various Healthcare/Pharmaceutical markets
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years consultative sales experience
  • Large account sales experience
  • Must have excellent oral, written and presentation skills
  • Self-starter, goal oriented
  • Maintain a sales philosophy based on a "win-win" for all parties
  • Ability to consistently meet and exceed all sales and profit goals
  • Must have demonstrated contact base and rolodex of clients
  • Must have proven track record in sales
  • Travel required within region (potential national, international)
  • Experience selling research services preferred
