Financial Times / Harris Poll
The Financial Times / Harris Poll (FT / Harris Poll) launched
in June, 2006 when the results from the question, "Which one, if any, of
the following countries do you think is the greatest threat to global
stability?" were published by the Financial Times. The FT /
Harris Poll has received worldwide attention ever since.
What is the Financial Times / Harris Poll?
Monthly, the Financial Times editors identify a subject and
collaborate with Harris Interactive to develop ten questions to be fielded
online among adults in France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Spain and the
United States.
The FT / Harris Poll covers topics of great interest, not only in these
countries but worldwide as well. These topics include:
- Climate change
- Political beliefs and attitudes
- Energy
- Religion
- Economic activity
- Immigration
The study is fielded among the Harris Interactive multimillion member online
panel of double-opted-in respondents—those who have agreed to be members of
the Harris Poll Online and to be invited to participate in surveys.
The results from the monthly FT / Harris Poll are published by the Financial
Times and subsequently by Harris Interactive.
